Chem. Soc., Dalton, 2485 (1991). Self-assembly processes of Ni(II) ions with this ligand have been studied. The coordination of Ni(II) results in the formation of a host molecule containing a redox-active cavity, of potential use in electrocatalysis: J. Chem. Soc., Chem. Commun., 1643 (1995).
