• Pharmacology: Troleandomycin is a macrolide antibiotic that is similar to erythromycin. It is active in vitro against the following gram-positive organisms: Streptococcus pyogenes and Diplococcus pneumoniae.
• Toxicity: Symptoms of overdose include diarrhea, nausea, stomach cramps, and vomiting.
